I’ve been right there, lost in heartbreak and self-doubt, feeling like my past mistakes had stolen my future.
 

As a young single mom, I faced sleepless nights, problems that crushed my spirit, and the chaos of balancing everything alone.
 

But in my darkest moments, God’s grace found me. Through faith, personal growth, and mentorship, I began to shed the layers of shame and insecurity that held me back.
 

I rediscovered my identity as His beloved daughter, a blessed woman (and mom), and someone with a purpose bigger than my pain. Through inner healing and external action, I achieved life balance, pursued dreams like homeownership and entrepreneurship, and became a certified life coach. I embraced motherhood without losing myself, prioritizing practices such as fitness, counseling, and nurturing friendships.

It also prepared my heart for the ultimate overflow: meeting and marrying my God-aligned husband. I chose not to be defined by societal statistics about  being a “black single mom.” Instead I anchored my worth and value in who God created me to be.

 

That journey wasn’t easy, but it was worth it. Now, as the founder of IncludingU Academy, I’m passionate about walking alongside single women and moms like you, helping you break free from limiting cycles, rebuild your confidence, and step boldly into the calling God has for you.
